Oracle Cloud new features 22A-B

As we all know Oracle keeps adding new features every quarter. Here are some of the new things which I found really useful.

HCM & Pay

• Scanning of document to prefill the flexfield data : When you upload the document it will automatically fill information in your flexfield from the data found in the document, quite handy.
• Workflow approval simulation : More transactions support simulation now, a very handy feature to test if approval is working or not.
• Workflow approval alert : You can now setup alert to notify issues with your workflow and even sent alert from the transaction console. Another good feature. You can play with the template of notification too.
• Deep link to documents : Another feature many people been asking to have a deep link which directly takes you to the document. It seems to be delivered now.
• Analytics task in Journeys : I am big fan of showing data/reports in checklist/journeys, this now allows you to embed OTBI analysis and allow you to pass parameter. Really like this idea.
• Guide me feature in Journeys : Another feature to add embedded help guide in journeys to help user complete the given task.
• Embedded learning content in journeys. Probably helpful to just launch video from journey.
• Retro Pay results : Ability to view and compare retro pay results.
• P45 in personal email : Ability to override the destination and send P45 to HOME emails.

Asset Rest API

Not impressed by any other ERP or procurement enhancement. Oracle ERP cloud product team need to up the game here.
